Vendor List

Tree & wreath contest entries: A reefer trailer will be on site on Tuesday late afternoon for you to store your contest trees and wreaths. It will be locked. If you arrive at an odd time, call Paul at 715-927-4442 to arrange time to meet at the trailer.

Wednesday, Aug. 16 (at the Radisson)

8:00 AM- 5:00 PM NCTA Board Meeting
2:00 PM- 4:30 PM  WCTPA Board Meeting

Thursday, Aug. 17

8:00 AM  - Meet in the lobby of the Radisson hotel to ride the bus to the field day.

9:00 AM- 3:00 PM: Field day starts at Pensaukee Town Hall, (see map above) for presentations. If you drive, meet at the town hall. After lunch we will all board buses to travel to Whispering Pines Tree Farm, Oconto. Buses will return to the town hall to let you pick up your car. And Radisson bus will return to hotel. Speakers are Dr. Bert Cregg, Michigan State University and Larry Downey, Downey Nursery Inc., Quebec.

8:00 AM- 5:00 PM: Christmas Tree Promotion Board Meeting
1:00-5:00 PM:  Christmas Spirit Foundation Meeting
1:00-4:30 PM: Vendors set up
5:00- 7:00 PM: Meet & Greet Reception for all.
Appetizers include Deep Fried Cheese Curds, Chicken Satay Skewers, Seafood Crostini, Cocktail Meatballs, Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts, Vegetable Egg Rolls, Crackers with Herb & Garlic Cheese Spread. Cash Bar. Join us for some lively conversation and shop talk!

Friday, Aug. 18

7:30 AM: Registration opens
7:30: Vendor check in and set up
8:00: Tree & wreath contest entries can be registered; tree drilling takes place in parking lot
8:30: Vendors open, time to network and buy supplies
10:30: Seminar: Trees & Trump by Craig Regelbrugge, AmericanHort
12:00 PM: Lunch, Visit Vendors

1:00 Vote on contest trees & wreaths
1:30: Seminars: CTPB, NCTA & YOU - review last year and plan for 2017, by Mark Arkills, CTPB Promotion Chair, Tim O'Connor, CTPB Executive Director, and Marsha Gray, CTPB Program Director
3:00: Visit vendors
3:15: Seminar: Manage a Clear Cut by Paul Schroeder, North Contree Christmas, Inc.
3:30: Turn in Wisconsin tree contest ballots
4:00: Vendors close & tear down
4:00: WI Annual Meeting
5:00: Turn in National Contest ballots
6:00: Banquet Dinner: Tim O'Connor

Saturday, Aug. 19

7:00 AM: Eat breakfast
7:30 AM: Meet in the lobby of the Radisson to board bus to go on farm tour; you are allowed to drive your car too (see map above or in the July Quarterly Journal for directions)
8:30: Arrive at Wausaukee
8:40: Farm tour
12:30 PM: Tailgate Party
2:30 Estimated time -load bus to return to the Radisson
3:40 Arrive back at the Radisson

14 Famous Marinette County Waterfalls
Our world famous waterfalls offers short and long hikes in serene and natural settings. Our self-guided Waterfalls Tour provides a fun, family-friendly way to get back to nature.
About half of the waterfalls on our tour are located in the Marinette County Parks system. A $3.00 per day (per car) or $12.00 per year (per car) entrance fee can be paid at park entrances and is valid for admission to all county parks.
